GPC’s Summer Of Polo Continues Tomorrow At Greenwich Polo Club For Another Exciting Sunday!
The 2021 East Coast High-Goal Series continues at Greenwich Polo Club tomorrow, Sunday, July 11th, with another fantastic Sunday match in store for everyone! We will feature polo at 3:00 pm on the famous Sunday field at Greenwich Polo Club, complete with all the fast ponies, divot stomping, The Pony Bar, and our ever-popular after polo Asado party by The Cup Bearer.
The gates open at 1:00 pm, so grab your tickets now and join us for a day out at Greenwich Polo Club! Be sure to check out the CTC&G Players’ Lounge VIP on our tickets map for a fantastic field-side view of the match, complete with live music, a premium bar, and tastings by Fogo de Chão.
This Sunday’s featured public match at 3 pm will showcase Altaris taking on White Birch Farm in what is sure to be a great match between two very talented teams. As always at Greenwich Polo Club, this Sunday’s match will include some of the very best players and horses in the world, a level of polo that is quite special to witness. From picnicking on the lawn, to the ever-popular halftime divot stomp, to crafting custom cocktails with The Cup Bearer in the Players’ Lounge VIP, there is truly something for everyone at GPC. Greenwich Polo Club was established in 1981 and is recognized as one of the top high-goal polo venues in the world. Known for its unmatched roster of legendary teams, professional players, and champion equine athletes GPC hosts some of the most important tournaments in polo, including the prestigious East Coast Open.
The club is home to the legendary White Birch polo team, one of the most successful in history, having won the most high-goal polo tournaments of any team over the course of the past 25 years, including the US Open Polo Championship in 2005.
Some of the world’s best players have played at Greenwich Polo Club, including Mariano Aguerre, Facundo Pieres, Hilario Ulloa, Nacho Figueras and many others. Each Spring players descend on Greenwich with their strings of elite horses to compete for some of polo’s most prestigious titles.
